Managing Silt in the Lake

It's almost impossible to imagine Lake Lure without the lake.  The Town of Lake Lure has posted information about the problem of managing silt in the lake. The sediment in the lake is as deep as 5 feet in some areas.  Read about the new strategy the Lake Advisory Board has come up with to deal with the silt problem.
Second Bid Sale of GreyRock Phase 1 & 2 lots

The GreyRock Community Association is holding a second bid sale of Phase 1 and Phase 2 lots.  This second bid sale is open to all GreyRock owners in good standing.  For more details about this sale please visit the Documents page on the left tab.  The sale is open from January 31, 2016 to March 31, 2016. There are plans to advertise the remaining lots to the public following this sale.
Bottomless Pool of Lake Lure

See the video about the now closed Bottomless Pool of Lake Lure.  It was once a popular vacation spot in Lake Lure.  It's a part of the master plan of Chimney Rock so could be opened in the future.
