A Status of the Roads Report dated October 13, 2014 has been posted on the bottom of the Infrastructure Committee Page.  Before traveling to Lake Lure, remember to confirm or obtain your east gate code by contacting IPM.  Safe travels.
Well Drilling Continues

Well drilling for the Groundwater Source Exploration Study in GreyRock continues.  Productive wells have been drilled at sites 6, 7, 8A and 1A.  Permits have been obtained for well sites 4 and 10A.  Four additional potential well sites have been identified.  Pictures for work on this project can be found by clicking here.
The Goats are Back in Lake Lure

WAC-HNG has again deployed goats on the banks of the Rocky Broad River in Bat Cave to combat invasive kudzu. These photos were taken off Highway 9 in Bat Cave. 
Buffalo Creek Park in the News

WNC Magazine, Mountain Living in Western North Carolina, is featuring the new bike trail in the Buffalo Creek Park.  The word about this new park and their bike trail is getting out.
