Hickory Nut Gorge Green Salamanders

Biologists have verified that there is a newly discovered Green Salamander named Hickory Nut Gorge green salamander. They only found in Gerton, Chimney Rock and Lake Lure. Hike to Eagle Rock

The Vista Seekers hiked to Eagle Rock and the Tunnel along Weed Patch Mountain Trail on Feb. 26, 2020. You can see an album of pictures taken during the hike by going to photo albums. For property owners, this view point and tunnel are on what was originally GreyRock common property that is now preserved. The land is part of a 10 miles trail which is part of a 100 mile trails system around Hickory Net Gorge. This is neighboring land preserved for all to enjoy!
Design Guidelines Revised 2019

The GreyRock Board of Directors approved revisions to the Design Guidelines at their meeting on June 26, 2019. Due to changes in materials and building practices the GreyRock Board approved a revision of the GreyRock Design Guidelines effective July 1, 2019. The minimum home size has been reduced, green building practices are encouraged and solar photovoltaic energy capture have been added. The Design Guidelines are posted on the GreyRock Today website and can be obtained by contacting IMP in Arden.
