The Vista Seekers hike in Cowpens Battlefield South Carolina. On January 17, 1781 Daniel Morgan led his army of Continentals and backwood militia to a victory over Banastre Tarleton's large force of British regulars. The "Old Waggoner's" tactical masterpiece had "sprinted up the people." The victory gave hope for the lower South campaign.
